A former member of U.S. Army Cyber Command, Sharon Martin is on a relentless mission to protect the 99%.
Sharon's journey into cybersecurity began with a fascination for data and a transformative moment analyzing packet captures from Wireshark. This interest led her to specialize in thinking like a hacker and using that perspective to guide product development at ĢTV, making it easier to catch malicious actors.
Before ĢTV, Sharon worked in government cybersecurity. She spent over five years with the U.S. Army Cyber Command in cyber analysis and operations, followed by a role with a government contractor developing cybersecurity software for the Department of Defense. Sharon was also an Arabic linguist during her time in the Army.
Sharon holds a Master of Science in Information Security & Assurance and numerous certifications, including CISSP, Pentest+, and CEH. "I've let many other certifications expire over time," she notes.
